For the past two weeks I haven’t been feeling well.  It doesn’t help that as I seem to get over the weird symptoms I end up staying with my sister and they come back – though with less intensity each time.  L is cute but like all kids, he has germs.

I recently got the ICO OST and it is so cool and haunting – awesome, really.  It’s by the same person that did the FMA OST.  Now I have to get my timing down and finish the game.  I need to make the little dude run faster or through walls, better yet – teleport to the black holes – YES!  Then saving the girl would be easy.  And with less dying.  I read in the Popular Mechanics the other day that gamers like dying…  The test, however, was for FPS and TPS.  I loath dying but the only one [FPS/TPS] I’ve tried is FVII DOC and it was hard.  And gloomy, could hardly see a thing – or anything that was shooting me.  Hand to hand was okay though.  But Vincent is awesome 😛

Hmm… there really is nothing like sitting down to an exam and knowing all the answers.  It makes me feel as if the hours spend studying have been worth it.  It also meant that I wrote solidly for a hour and a half – my arm was a bit sore after that.  I’m kind of hoping for another distinction 😀

I keep telling myself to read GG on Fridays as there will be three pages instead of one – this has yet to happen.  I can do this with the other online comics I read and some them are excellent.  I think it might because GG is still new to me.

Novalisations… toying with the idea of novalising a manga – a complete one.  Possible also a short one but first I must finish Last Order.

Much sewing to do this weekend…

I went to buy some stock.  I didn’t get what I wanted but got other stuff and stuff for the house.  I also bought Sorcery but it turns out I already have it.  I did find some cool Chinese coin things with a little history on the back – skim reading in the shop was interesting and further reading has been less informative.  Not only is the grammar odd and the spelling off, there are completely new words and the context is too vague to give meanings. But I didn’t get watch batteries :/

L spend the weekend.  Tiring but he’s very cute.  Only thing is I’m now sneezing and have a headache and sore eye – I hope it’s nothing serious and that panado will make it go away.

Some time ago I had a WSJ. I read something I thought was JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.  It was funny so I looked it up – it was not JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure I was thinking off.  I then went to WSJ’s webpage and read all the titles but none sounded right and the art was wrong.  I was about to give up when I remembered it was Shaman King.  So far it’s rather funny but has no reread potential.

“Today they cross swords… so that they can live to cross swords again tomorrow…” – Bleach 330 tagline.

And Naruto had revealed a plot bunny – if I think about it, I shouldn’t really be surprised at all.

I get the feeling that Bakuman could be dragged on and on long after the story had finished.

I’ve been trying and trying to find more Juushin Enbu – I can’t be the only one looking for it!

… why are more shojou scanned than shounen – it’s annoying.  Though I am often surprised by the number of guys who read shojou and cringe when I mention Alchemist.  They all say the same thing – “I couldn’t read after the dog…”

The Dark Knight character heads superimposed on the heads of the models from Zoolander as they drive to the gas station.  Joker is driving, Batman is shotgun and Two Face in the back…

In the years I’ve been catching the train I mostly get to where I want to be within a few minutes of the times stated in the timetable.  Seldom on time but usually within two to three minutes.  However, when things do go wrong, they go wrong badly and that’s all I seem to remember about the train.  Though most of the delays of late have only been occurring for the past three to four years.  Today I waited for thirty-five minutes and then it took five and a half minutes to go through the gate at Cape Town.  A little forethought  would have prevented the squash at the gate – trains are late thus over packed meaning more [angry] people through the gates.  Alas it is not so – only two gates were open…

Sensei though it was cool that I won the poetry competition – I got suggestions for Japanese myths from him.  Unfortunately if it hasn’t appeared in an anime or manga, it is impossible to find in English.  Of the list he gave me I found two…  And it would seem so only because they appear in Hell Boy [saw a preview for this, number two that is, – it looks cool and, strangely, so does Dragonball].

Fiction note: haven’t done this for a while but it doesn’t mean I haven’t been writing.  Hopefully before the end of the year I’ll have finished editing Meteora.  I start but then think of something that would work for Friends of my Heart or Final Legend – though at the moment it’s study, study and study.

WOW – Alchemist 😀

I won a poetry competition on Saturday and thought I would go up to Garden Centre quickly and get a book with my shiny voucher prize.  The Garden Centre is further than I thought – still very much walkable but further than I thought but I picked up Stardust and made the mistake of going into Pick n Pay…

I took a break from studying and got hooked on the most angsty piece of fanfiction out there – I think it was more wabbing than actual story content or writing style that kept me there.

But now it is after 16h00 so I’ll do some Japanese.
