Simple and clean

I had a really good day yesterday – baking in the morning and PS in the afternoon;  well, it sort of went like that.  I went to bake and realised that I had pretty much run out of everything so I had to go to the shop, there I picked up some coke and spend the afternoon/evening playing X after baking muffins and a chocolate cake.  I plan to repeat this tomorrow; it is my favorite way to spend the afternoon – coke and X.

Regardless of warnings the future doesn’t scare me at all.   Have a good New Year and a better 2007.

Ah, people – an endless source of amusement.  My best is when they reach the check out of any store and once their purchase is rung up do they start to look for a method of payment.  Was having to pay a surprise?  I mean, I’ve never seen someone walk away without paying and not get stopped by security.  There is always a blinking moment followed by wallet searching once the cashier has given the total.   I remember one guy accusing a store of having misleading advertising – what does he think advertising is?  The truth?

I submitted my first picture today.  Yeah, it’s fanart.  What can I say – I’m a fan girl.  I don’t think it’s bad considering I did everything myself; usually I trace a body from something else and adapt it.  I like the way the colouring came out.

Fiction note:  Day Two is up and Day Three is about half way done.   Will got posted and the OF is … moving along slowly.

I ended up posting Day Two with no outside proof-reading (proof-reading other than my own).  I’ve come up with a rather cool short story idea that I’m thinking of writing this afternoon.  It’ fantasyish/ old world like.

I finally managed to find a hard cover for my GBA, only been looking for six months.  It is, I think, originally suposed to be a jewellery/make up thing.  It has a mirror in it but it’s not big enough to be a glasses case so I don’t know what it was meant for but it now has a cool use.   Was playing X last night – it’s nice but I won’t go into that.  Again.

I’m baking a chocolate cake tomorrow and I might make some muffins.  I’ll need to buy more chocolate chips then hmmm….. I don’t know.  I might make brownies for New Year.  Undecided.  I wonder, should I make a round or square cake?

Square makes cool games 😛

Fiction update

December 26, 2006 at 17:54 (Uncategorized)

After 5 hours of Day Three, I’m switching to Day Two to proof-read – I can’t wait for Aki-chan.  Besides I need a break from writing ****** (not to give away the plot :P).

I wrote a ‘thoughts’ fiction this afternoon but I’m not sure whether to post or not.  It’s Sasuke and Naruto’s thoughts after Sasuke drives Naruto’s head into the ground during their fight in the Valley of the End.  I don’t like ‘thoughts’ fiction but I attempted one and I’m not impressed with the result – I’llget Aki-chan’s opinion before I delete or post.

Atsui… samui…

December 26, 2006 at 09:44 (Uncategorized)

Last night was really hot and after some time I did manage to fall asleep but I woke up this morning quite cold; it was raining and I sleep under the window.  Luckily at seven, I get up at seven thirty for work (which is where I am now).

Xday was quite cool, I had a swim at my sister’s farm and saw the new horses – they look like horses.  Aki-chan and I bought each other the same gift – KH COM manga.  I think we know each other too well.  With Xday been and done the mall is sooo quiet, it is truly a waste to be open.

What fools these mortals be.

I haven’t yet had a chance to read the latest Bleach but I don’t think it could compare the latest Naruto and the awesomeness that is Shikamaru.  While he may not be my top favorite, he definitely counts as a favorite.

I made brownies for Xday.  They seemed to be my main baking enterprise lately.  At least this time I didn’t create any… er, new kitchen ware.  Following the advice from J, I managed to separate the potbowl (and then use them).   No renkinjutsu require – though I think it’s a great skill and would love to have it.

Side note: Day Three is progressing.

Oh yeah – Happy Xday!

While I managed to do some editing today; it looks like nothing going up before the weekend as previous thought.  Work is just to crazy at Christmas (for myself and Aki-chan) so I’m going to say a tentative Day Two up before New Year as we both have days off before then and I can correct any errors she points out.

Last night when I got home from the game I discovered a cut on my face.  It looked like I had been crying;the tears crystallised and as I dusted them away, they cut my skin.  This morning it was almost gone and it disappeared over the day.  Rather strange.

I’m playing with a cross over (FFVII, FFVIII and FFX).  Thus far there is no story line yet, just a bunch of scenes that I occasionally add to.   There are reasons behind Tidus and Squall’s appearance but how they are going to return or what they are going to do is unknown.   FFVII LO is on hold still the New Year and possible until after March as I have sewing work to do.

I think the bottom line is that work gets in the way of my life  x_x

Let’s try this again.

December 21, 2006 at 09:29 (Uncategorized)

I feel my previous post leaves little to the imagination.  I had had a very busy day at the Chinese shop and then had to continue till nine in the dungeon.   On the plus side, the Chinese shop made a lot of money.   Full of peanuts and orange juice I feel I can tackle the morning.  More importantly, tackle Day Three.  And I must get on Aki-chan’s case to proof read Day Two.

Insider has a cool scan for FFVII CC.  It looks awesome; every time something is shown about this game I reconsider my views of the PSP.  But I tend to fall back to them.  What I will be getting without any consideration is the PS3; it’s about time I upgraded.  It will be a new experiance because I started with the PS2 and FFX about 5/6 years ago, having not really played anything game related before; there were a couple of afternoon where I had played Circus Charlie and, I think, Street Fighter at a friend’s house.  Working it out, I think I was 11 or12 – something like that.  This is why I battle with FFVII (a lot) and FFVIII (a bit) – graphics are not so happy and X is awesome.  Best game yet!  I see FFX-2 as AU because X is finished.

It will be nice once Christmas is over and I can return to my normal working hours.  I am wanting to work on my novelization (FFVII Last Order) but I’ve hardly been at home during the daylight hours these fast couple of weeks.  Today I started the edit for Day Three; Day Two still has to be proof read but it should be up by the weekend.

The original fiction (OF) is still being put on paper; so far I have finished the character list, character back story and country history.  I don’t have to do any of this for fanfic but I do use a fair amount of paper writing ideas, making lists of characters I’m going to use and where they are going to be as well as arranging events.  And getting maps so I have an idea of location and distance.  I’m going to have to draw a map for the OF; I’m sure I have a half complete map from an M7 AU I wrote.

Looking for a map… maybe you need a map to find it.
