Nihongo no hi
Today was a rather strange day. I had plans but every time I started something, I would think ‘I usually do Japanese today’. I wasn’t entirely sure how to process the day.
Birds
There are a lot of birds in MB. Especially in the garden; they pick at the grass, fight for the best sand to bath in, make epic nests in the trees and flatten themselves on the warm driveway. They also try to come inside all the time – as in landing on the sill and pecking at the glass.
However, when they do happen to find an open window, they are fly around in such a panic that they injure themselves and smear blood on the walls and ceilings. Eventually they fly out once I’ve opened all the windows and doors. But opening the doors means other little birds come walking in and poop on everything… It is insane!
Though, it is kind of cool to be woken up at night by owls.
Sodium benzoate
Too much of this preservative and I get a migraine so I’ve been trying to filter it out of my diet but it appears to be in everything that I like. And in things I would never have suspected such as gherkins and pickled onions. Somethings are almost a given like Iron Brew and Sprite but it’s strangely not in coke…
But the yoga is going along well – less general pain in my body. Less general pain in my eyes as well but that’s due to supplements – but the light still hurts. And I’ve started a new series of yoga exercises to reduce migraines – like most natural things they may get worst before they get better. And I had a rather lengthy one this week – not overly painful, just lingering. But doing it every day should eventually stop them completely. I am hoping so.
…
Today was my last official Japanese lesson… While I shall be continuing on my own – it won’t be the same. It’s going to be weird, for the last five years I had a lesson every week.
It can be done
If OCRemix can do it so can Mangahelpers. Some effort, forethought and, possibly, a bit of a positive attitude.
Give a little…
100
Alchemist! What the hell! And I thought the wait for this chapter was bad…
Phones on cameras
Today was the first time I really wanted a camera on my phone. Because I could have pretended to be smsing or something while I took a picture of the silver headless blow-up doll wearing a pink and white dotty bikini.
It was frilly as well… pink, dotty and frilly. [<- The bikini, not my brain.]

Pretty in Pink
Only the dude wasn’t pretty… But he was dressed in pink. Light candy floss pink suit complete with waistcoat.
